Ole Miss First Leadership Team
Dr. Maureen Liberto
Dr. Maureen Liberto is the student counselor for the Ole Miss First Scholarship program. After retiring in 2005 as assistant director of admissions and guidance at Jones County Junior College in Laurel, Miss., Liberto moved to Oxford, where she volunteers as a counselor for Ole Miss First scholars. She assists students in a variety of areas, from exploring careers and obtaining internships to arranging guest speakers to interact with students on campus. Her late husband, V.A. Liberto, was an Ole Miss alumnus who gave of his time by serving on the advisory committee to the School of Business Administration, as well as on campaigns to raise private funds. The couple's three children also attended the university.

Denson Hollis
Denson comes to Ole Miss from Third Party Solutions, where he served as Pharmacy Development Coordinator with primary responsibilities of marketing workers compensation programs with Wal-Mart pharmacies throughout a six-state region. Prior work includes sales and marketing experience with Oncology Therapeutics Network and Yellow Book USA, all based in Nashville.
Denson, a Clarksdale native, received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Ole Miss in 2001 and his Master of Science in Sports Management from Georgia Southern University in December 2004.

Blount Montgomery
Blount Montgomery, a native of Pass Christian, Mississippi, is a graduate assistant with the Ole Miss First program. She received her bachelor's degree in history from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN where she graduated cum laude.
She is currently seeking a masters in Southern Studies here at Ole Miss. Blount was drawn to Ole Miss because "it is one of the few schools that is taking cultural studies seriously and I wanted to dig deeper into what the South means to me and to others." After completing her masters, she hope to enter Seminary to become an Episcopal priest. . |
